We are doing everything we can think of to stop this murder of Francis. We have given Battersea contacts of the solicitor willing to represent Francis and save him from death. We have called for an independent assessment to be carried out on Francis to see if he definitely is a pitbull terrier. We have given Battersea the details of a respected and experienced person who is willing to do this. Battersea have said that Francis was assessed on 21st July by the Metropolitan Police and deemed to be a pitbull, however we would like to have a second opinion. It may well be correct but surely its worth being absolutely certain before condemning the dog to death As Trevor Cooper says in his Breed Specific Legislation video, DNA tests are NOT carried out and they rely on measurements to say if a dog is a certain breed! This cannot always be 100% accurate so in every case another assessment should be carried out. Come on Battersea, allow Francis to be reassessed to make sure he is the breed you are claiming he is. It certainly wouldn't hurt to check..would it?
