Demanding Better Fortnite Server Distribution in Europe. 
Prioritizing Eastern Europe and the Balkans. 

Despite the popularity of Fortnite in South-East Europe and the Balkans, there are no dedicated servers in these regions. This lack of infrastructure results in high ping and latency issues for players, compromising their gaming experience and competitive integrity. Western and Nordic European players, on the other hand, can connect to local servers with 0 ping, giving them an unfair advantage. The importance of low latency in competitive games like Fortnite cannot be overstated - it directly impacts reaction times and game performance. It's time that Epic Games acknowledges its large player base in Eastern Europe and the Balkans by establishing dedicated servers for this region. West Europe is packed with a plethora of servers, while East Europe has zero dedicated servers. Fortnite has been around for many years, yet there is still no news or plans for servers in Eastern Europe or the Balkans.

The current EU servers are located in London (England), Paris (France), Ireland, Frankfurt (Germany), Milan (Italy), and Helsinki (Finland).

For Battle Royale games specifically, it's critical to note that all EU players, regardless of their location within Europe, connect to the Frankfurt and Paris servers, while most competitive games are hosted on the London server. This means that players in Eastern Europe and the Balkans experience even higher ping and latency, ranging from 60-120ms, compared to Western European players who enjoy a ping as low as 0-20ms. This disparity severely impacts the gaming experience and competitive integrity for players in Eastern Europe and the Balkans.

To address the significant ping and latency disparities faced by players in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, we propose the establishment of a dedicated Europe East region for Fortnite servers. This new region would cater specifically to players in Eastern Europe and the Balkans, providing them with optimal connectivity and improving their overall gaming experience. By creating a dedicated Europe East region, Epic Games can ensure fair and equal access to low-latency servers for all European players, regardless of their geographical location.

It is known that Epic Games utilizes Amazon's AWS servers for its cloud-based infrastructure and online services.
