BREAKING NEWS: Fort Worth Animal Control fails again! City Council D7, Represented by Dennis Shingleton. A few years back, we reported a cruelty case to Fort Worth Animal Control, after getting a Cruelty Investigator from The Humane Society of North Texas to look at the dog who was severely matted, so much so that he could not urinate properly and because the poop could not leave the anal area (due to the matting) the dog's rear end was raw. The dog had eye infection, fleas and and rashes due to fleas and skin not being able to reach air due to mats. Fort Worth AC called the owner, owner lied and said he did not own a dog, just cats. Then he had to take back those words when FWAC told him, they were looking at the dog. The dog was also intact (not neutered). Long story short, Fort Worth Animal Control assured us that they would make sure that they would meet with the owner, make him get Intact Permit and go through the Responsible Pet Class. Here we are today and pet sitter walks in to his house and sees dead cats on the floor, poop all over the house, the same dog in the same condition as we saw him and still intact. Another intact female on the property who is breeding with the aforementioned dog. Fort Worth Animal Control is called and caller is told that there is nothing Fort Worth Animal Control can do. This is total BS! This is a photo of the dogs infected eyes as of today. The owner of dog works for CBS DFW and CBS was also notified about this cruel owner years ago. This dog deserves better and should never be given back to this horrible, cruel, abusive, sick man. Please help us get this story out to the media. Thank you.
