FORMAL PARENT PETITION FOR CAMPUS SAFETY AND RESTRICTED ACCESS

To: Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), District Leadership, and Carson High School Administration
Subject: Formal Petition Requesting Investigation and Restriction of Campus Access Due to Student Safety Concerns
We, the undersigned parents, guardians, and concerned members of the Carson High School community, are submitting this formal petition to express serious concerns regarding the repeated presence and reported conduct of Ms. Fealofani Salausa on and around Carson High School’s campus.
Our primary concern is the safety, well-being, and protection of our children and staff at Carson High, as well as maintaining a safe, respectful, and uninterrupted learning environment.
Concerns brought to our attention include:
Online Harassment and Cyberbullying: Allegations of repeated online statements and behavior targeting members of the school community, including content that we believe may contribute to harassment, hostility, and reputational harm.
Interactions With Minor Students: Reports of Ms. Fealofani Salausa approaching and engaging with underage students on campus without clear parental or guardian knowledge or consent. We request that the district investigate whether these interactions were authorized and complied with school safety policies.
Repeated Campus Presence: Concerns regarding the frequency of Ms. Fealofani Salausa's visits to campus, the purpose of those visits, and whether appropriate visitor authorization and supervision procedures have been followed.
Encouraging Student Walkouts and Protests: Reports that Ms. Fealofani Salausa has encouraged students to miss instructional time to participate in protests. While we recognize the importance of freedom of expression and peaceful advocacy, we are concerned about outside adults potentially influencing minors to leave class or participate in activities without appropriate parental awareness.
Student Safety and Emotional Well-Being: The reported pattern of behavior has raised concerns among parents regarding the impact on students, school staff, and the overall campus environment.
OUR FORMAL REQUEST TO LAUSD
We respectfully request that LAUSD and Carson High School administration take the following actions:
- Conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the reported incidents and concerns.
- Review Ms. Fealofani Salausa's campus visits, interactions with minor students, and compliance with district visitor policies.
- Consider restricting or prohibiting Ms. Fealofani Salausa's access to all LAUSD campuses, to the extent permitted by district policy and applicable law, if the investigation establishes sufficient grounds.
- Ensure that students are protected from unauthorized adult interactions, intimidation, harassment, or interference with their education.
- Provide parents with a written response explaining what measures will be taken to address these concerns, while respecting applicable privacy requirements.
OUR CHILDREN’S SAFETY MUST COME FIRST.
Carson High School should be a place where students can focus on their education without unnecessary outside interference, intimidation, or disruptions.
This petition is not intended to silence lawful advocacy, peaceful disagreement, or legitimate concerns about school leadership.
Rather, it is a request for accountability, appropriate boundaries, and enforcement of campus safety policies. We believe every individual should be held to the same standards when it comes to protecting students and staff, regardless of personal opinions, affiliations, or disagreements within the community. However, Ms. Fealofani Salausa is a LAUSD parent spreading defamatory lies and misinformation about Carson High School administration that violate the social media guidelines outlined in LAUSD Policy Bulletin BUL5688-2. Section I , Item 6 which reads:
"Posting inappropriate threatening, harassing, racist, biased, derogatory, disparaging or bullying comments toward or about any student, employee, or associated person on any website is prohibited and may be subject to discipline."
We respectfully urge LAUSD to take these concerns seriously, investigate them promptly, and take appropriate action to protect the students of Carson High School.
