Results from tonight's S73 Hearing - not a lot of wins, I'm afraid

NEWS FROM TONIGHT'S S73 HEARING (from Maria)

HUGE GRATITUDE TO MARIA AND GARETH FOR ATTENDING AND PREPARING STATEMENTS!

Not a lot of wins, I'm afraid. 

We submitted 27 pieces of evidence - including this petition - plus a 10 minute written statement.  Our representatives each got 3 minutes to speak.

The wins are:

• The terrace will close at 9pm for Fundraising events. 

• The OMP (Operational Management Plan) will be reviewed in a year.

Several councillors were with us , asking for earlier terrace closure/more extensive terrace closure and not to use Myddelton Passage as an evening exit, but alas these were voted down.

Giulio Ferrini and Councillor Claire Jeeps were vocal for us, and Giulio and another person tried to get wider concessions.  We will wait to get a final report on what was passed.  Some of the votes were very close.
