16 Signatures - Slow Start - but we're beginning to move!

Hi everybody,

Many thanks for kicking off the petition with your signatures. We must all do a lot more if we want this to happen.

I will not flood you with emails, but at major milestones: 50 signatures, 100, 500,1000 and 10000 etc. Unfortunately I cannot block your mail for these communications, as change.org manages them.

I am sure many of you have already shared the petition's link (and thanks again) but, in case you have not got round to it yet here are a few tips to help spread the word...

1. some of us forget that our spouses/partners can sign, or 18+ children, parents, cousins etc - even if they are not usually online, you can help them do it (if they agree).
2. do you still have an FB, X, Insta, etc account? If you have, then posting a quick link to the petition would help a lot. Social Media is great, powerful - it just needs to stay clean, as I'm sure your posts are. You can also copy any of my posts or videos on https://mastodon.social/@oldkev
3. do you belong to a sports club, parental group, women's institute, a studies class, etc? Then please pass the link around there.
4. If you don't already have any fediverse accounts try them out: Mastodon is similar to X, Friendica & Diaspora are similar to FB, Pixelfed is like Insta and more. If you'd like to join me on Mastodon, I am here:  https://mastodon.social/@oldkev then you can follow me which will mean that my posts go onto your timeline. Then, if you boost my posts you will be sharing it with all of your Mastodon followers.

Any of those things would help our cause and would significantly increase the number of signatures.
