Just over a year ago, my facebook account was hacked, money stolen from my PayPal account and my entire personal timeline was suspended and subsequently inaccessible to me forever.  Facebook lied to me, stating that I could appeal this decision and they would review it within 30 days.  That NEVER happened.  Despite my attemps to contact facebook, there was absolutely NO recourse.  I did nothing wrong.  I was having lunch with a friend when the account was hacked and when I received the e-mail that my account was suspended due to child sexual exploitation posts, I was stunned.  Never have I ever posted such content or anything remotely related to that.  I figured surely facebook would see that, as I have had that account over 10 years.  The last thing I posted was a photo I colored from an app on my phone.  It was just a colorful picture of a mandala and had no human in it whatsoever.
I thought it was a joke at first and didn't pay attention until I was home and unable to access my facebook account.  This happens repeatedly to thousands of innocent facebook users every single day.  I have several friends who land in facebook jail because of stupid bots that flag them for the smallest thing, every single day.  We have absolutely NO WAY to stop this, but the hackers are given freedom to hack people over and over again.  This is so backwards and unfair to the millions of innocent facebook users who fall victim to these hackers on a daily basis.  It's time for us to stand up to Mark Zuckerberg and his team of "bots" and force them to create a team of humans for customer service so that accounts that have been inaccurately suspended can be restored and that questionable posts can be reviewed fairly by humans, not bots, who can assess whether or not that individual has ever posted anything against community standards before their account was suspended.  It is unbelievable, that a company as large as facebook does not have proper customer service available for any situation and that we are powerless against the bots who have no way of knowing who we are, and are just programmed to flag words or images and automatically suspend accounts or throw us in facebook jail for whatever amount of time they deem fair.
It's time for us to stand up for our right to freedom of speech, and also our right to have our accounts protected from these hackers.  Why is there not stronger security and when hackers do access our accounts, why are they not held accountable?  The innocent are punished for no reason and the hackers roam free on facebook.  It's time for Zuckerberg to spend some of his millions on creating stronger account protection, a team of humans to review individual accounts and a security team of humans to fight back against the hackers and put them in their places - hopefully prison.  
I know I am not alone in what happened to my account.  I lost my pages, groups and money because of this incident, I lost years of pictures I can never get back, memories of things that were important to me and there was zero proof that I had done anything wrong.  Facebook would not even show me the offending post.  In America at least, I thought most people were innocent until PROVEN guilty - but in facebook land, you're guilty and there is no way to prove your innocence.  Come on Zuckerberg, man up and treat your users fairly and with dignity and respect.
