Force California Leaders to Resign after LA Fires

Force California Leaders to Resign after LA Fires
The Issue
This week, four major wildfires decimated a cultural bastion of the United States. Los Angeles, the vaunted City of Angels was struck on all sides by these devastating blazes. Gavin Newsom and his political cronies are to blame. Because this chapter in the falling city’s story doesn’t start here.
This chapter started in 2019, when Newsom won his office by promising fire reform via executive action on the first day of his tenure - which he failed to do.
This chapter continued in 2020, when California suffered a record year of destructive fires amidst the most restrictive pandemic measures across the country. Both of which, were an absolute disaster for Californians.
This chapter is written in the back room deals that secure funding to “stop homelessness” that only exacerbate the issue by lining the pockets of politicians and their nonprofits instead of lowering housing costs.
This chapter is cemented in the lies about deforestation and the 650% inflated numbers behind clearing forests - which was discovered as a lie by the California chapter of National Public Radio.
Worse still, this chapter is exacerbated by record crime; terrible prioritization; and water shortages that are endangering millions. “Governor” Newsom, Mayor Bass, and every leftist crony in this state is to blame for these travesties. Now, they need to own their mistakes and step aside for true public servants.
California is the world’s fifth largest economy. We are a cultural force in the nation and the world. We have unlimited potential, if we are given the tools to rise to it. This government is not going to give us the tools. It’s not going to give us the opportunity. More so, it’s not going to give us the actual protections to flourish as citizens of this great state.
This petition serves as an official notification to those responsible. Hand over your resignation or face the consequences at the ballot box. We see you. We see your lies. We will stop you.
