I am making this petition in response to a recent experience that my band had. We played a gig and noticed that the venue had created AI advertisements for the show without our permission. We were upset because our likeness had been used to prompt the AI without consent and because the creation of show posters is the job of Fredericton's art and photography community. Outsourcing this labour from big tech companies is harmful to the local music/art scene and should be forbidden or, at the very least, require the authorization of the talent.
