Dear Stakeholders of Indian Skating,

 

As you are aware, the Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) recently conducted elections, and a new committee has been unanimously elected. Like many other sports bodies in India, RSFI too has faced its share of challenges over the past decades. Despite these hurdles, the previous office bearers made commendable efforts to promote the sport.

 

However, in the aftermath of the recent elections, certain issues have come to light that require immediate attention and correction to ensure transparent and accountable governance. We all share the common desire to see the Federation function effectively and in accordance with its constitution — free from past shortcomings.

 

At this crucial juncture, we urge all stakeholders to approach their respective District and State Associations and request them to support the newly elected General Secretary, Dr. Bhagirath Kumar, who is committed to reform and the betterment of Indian skating.

 

It is concerning to note that the former General Secretary appears to be attempting to suppress these much-needed changes by influencing State Associations to send emails condemning the legitimate communication issued by Dr. Bhagirath Kumar. Reports suggest that some Associations have sent such emails at the behest of the former office bearer, Mr. Sharma.

 

We request everyone to stand by what is right. Please read the letter dated 16-June-2025, which appears to be genuine and aimed at fostering transparency and integrity within the Federation.
