The Board of Education is scheduled to meet again in a few days, Tuesday, December 2nd, with the regular meeting beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Administrative Center. An agenda has not yet been posted so we are not aware of whether this matter will be discussed. We believe agendas are required to be posted at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting, excluding holidays and weekends. Regardless of whether this topic ultimately appears on the agenda, it is important that we continue to keep the momentum and maintain consistent pressure on the Board.

This issue is critical. While this season is a time to be with family, it is also a time to support and stand up for our community. At its core, this is a matter of right and wrong—of ethics, accountability, and the values we expect from those entrusted with overseeing our schools. If we cannot rely on our Board of Education to uphold its own policies and hold its members accountable, it becomes difficult to trust their decisions on behalf of our children, families, and the taxpayers.
