حق تعیین سرنوشت ایرانیان، دموکراسی و صلح — بدون مداخله خارجی

این درخواست تلاشی است برای بازتاب صداهایی که هر روز بیش از پیش در گفتمان بین‌المللی—از جمله در رسانه‌های آمریکایی و اسرائیلی—به حاشیه رانده می‌شوند؛ صداهایی که از دموکراسی، حقوق بشر و حاکمیت قانون حمایت می‌کنند، اما هم‌زمان به‌طور قاطع با مداخله نظامی خارجی و مصادره سیاسی مبارزات داخلی ایران مخالف‌اند

در حالی که مردم داخل ایران به دنبال حقوق خود هستند و جان خود را به خطر می اندازند، روایت‌های جهت‌دار خارجی نیز هم‌زمان شکل می‌گیرند؛ روایت‌هایی که درباره رهبران جنبش گمانه‌زنی می‌کنند، اهداف آن را بازتعریف می‌نمایند و می‌کوشند آینده‌اش را از خارج از کشور تعیین کنند

ما بر این باوریم که تنها مسیر تغییر معنادار سیاسی در ایران، تلاش‌های مسالمت‌آمیز و به رهبری خود ایرانیان است. مبارزات مشروع مردم ایران نباید به ابزاری برای پیشبرد منافع  قدرت‌های خارجی—از جمله ایالات متحده یا اسرائیل—تبدیل شود

ایرانیان کاملاً توانایی تعیین سرنوشت خود را دارند. این خودِ مردم ایران هستند که تصمیم خواهند گرفت تغییر چگونه و چه زمانی رخ دهد، بر اساس ارزش‌ها و اراده جمعی خویش. نباید آنان را وادار کرد که چهره‌های وابسته به خارج یا گزینه‌های سیاسی تحمیلی را بپذیرند که در خدمت منافع بیگانگان هستند، نه منافع مردم ایران. همچنین، نباید پذیرش حضور نظامی خارجی یا اعمال زور از بیرون بر آنان تحمیل شود

زندگی تحت حاکمیت جمهوری اسلامی به ایرانیان درکی روشن از آنچه نادرست است داده است: سرکوب، فساد، خشونت، و نقض نظام‌مند کرامت انسانی. ایرانیان شایسته جامعه‌ای هستند که از این بی‌عدالتی‌ها رها باشد

از همین رو، بسیاری از ایرانیان روایت‌های موسوم به «آزادی‌بخشی» را که از سوی بازیگرانی مطرح می‌شود که خود مسئول نقض‌های جدی حقوق بشر هستند، نمی‌پذیرند. هیچ جامعه‌ای را نمی‌توان با شکلی دیگر از ستم از بند ستم رها کرد، و عدالت نمی‌تواند گزینشی یا مشروط باشد

ایران نمی‌تواند از دست ناقضان حقوق بشر، به‌وسیله نیروهایی «آزاد» شود که خود همان نقض‌ها را توجیه، تسهیل یا مرتکب می‌شوند. رهبران سیاسی‌ای که از آسیب گسترده به غیرنظامیان حمایت می‌کنند یا آن را مشروع جلوه می‌دهند، نمی‌توانند مدعی دفاع از عدالت یا آزادی برای ایرانیان باشند

ایرانیان با سیاست‌هایی که رنج مستقیم بر غیرنظامیان تحمیل کرده‌اند «آزاد» نخواهند شد—چه از طریق تحریم‌های فلج‌کننده اقتصادی و چه از طریق حملات نظامی‌ای که جان بی‌گناهان را می‌گیرد

از این‌رو، ما از دولت‌ها، رسانه‌ها و کنشگران بین‌المللی می‌خواهیم که:

• به حق تعیین سرنوشت مردم ایران احترام بگذارند
• از تهدید نظامی، مداخله، یا تحمیل گزینه‌های سیاسی خودداری کنند
• از حقوق بشر به‌طور یکسان و بدون استانداردهای دوگانه حمایت کنند
• دست از مصادره، تحریف یا تخریب جنبش‌های ایرانی بردارند
• بپذیرند که ایرانیان—و تنها ایرانیان—باید آینده کشور خود را رقم بزنند
• در قبال مبارزات داخلی مردم ایران برای تغییر، بی‌طرفی را رعایت کنند

این  درخواست همه راکه از دموکراسی، صلح، کرامت انسانی و رد سلطه خارجی بر مسیر آینده ایران حمایت می‌کنند دعوت به حمایت می کند

 

This petition gives voice to perspectives increasingly marginalized in international discourse, including in American and Israeli media: voices that support democracy, human rights, and the rule of law, while firmly rejecting foreign military intervention and the political hijacking of Iran’s internal struggles.

As people inside Iran speak with growing clarity and courage, competing external narratives rise alongside them—speculating about the movement’s leaders, redefining its goals, and attempting to dictate its future from abroad.

We believe that peaceful, Iranian‑led efforts must be the path toward meaningful political change. The legitimate struggles of Iranians must not be instrumentalized to serve the interests of foreign powers, including those of the United States or Israel.

Iranians are fully capable of determining their own future. They will decide how and when change occurs, according to their own values and collective will. They should not be forced to accept foreign-backed figures or imposed political alternatives that serve external interests rather than those of the Iranian people. Nor should they be compelled to accept foreign military presence or coercion on their soil.

Life under the Islamic Republic has given Iranians a clear understanding of what must be rejected: repression, corruption, violence, and the systematic violation of human dignity. Iranians deserve a society free from these injustices.

For this reason, many Iranians reject narratives of “liberation” advanced by actors who themselves are responsible for grave human rights violations. A society cannot be freed from oppression by another form of oppression, nor can justice be selective or conditional.

Iran cannot be liberated from human rights abusers by forces that excuse, enable, or commit similar abuses. Political leaders who support or legitimize mass civilian harm cannot credibly claim to be champions of justice or freedom for Iranians.

Iranians cannot be “freed” by policies that have inflicted suffering on civilians—whether through crippling economic sanctions or military strikes that take innocent lives.

We therefore call on governments, media, and international actors to:

• Respect Iranian self-determination
• Refrain from military threats, intervention, or imposed political alternatives
• Support human rights consistently, without double standards
• Stop hijacking, distorting, or sabotaging Iranian movements
• Recognize that Iranians—and only Iranians—should shape their country’s future
• Maintain neutrality toward Iran’s internal struggle for change
