General Motors axed the Pontiac brand as part of its 2009 bankruptcy. Yet to this day it is the most widely searched of all defunct brands. With GMs conversion to an all EV portfolio, it is feasible for GM to launch a one-off EV sedan using one of Pontiacs great model names, like Grand Prix, Bonneville, LeMans, or Tempest. It can be sold via the Buick-GMC dealer channel.
