The win by the Nicola Valley Fish & Game club against the Douglas Lake Cattle Company gate has set a precedent that will in all likelihood be fought all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada and shape the future of access in BC, and possibly Canada.
Access to Sooke Mountain Provincial Park will be resisted just as much, if not more, by the unlimited bank account of our own tax dollars controlled by a few fanatical townies in the CRD that believe the back country is no place for people.
