It's time for airlines to realize that rabbits are pets and sentient beings too, just like cats or dogs. They're worthy of the same treatment , and are way too fragile to survive in cargos. 

The unstable temperature, the noises, lack of space and unfamiliarity of cargos can be extremely stressful and dangerous for a bunny, which can lead to illness and even death. There's even some airlines who are listing the amount of pet's death incident in their cargos, as if it was something normal to happens. How is that even allowed !?

Rabbits are quiet, do not take lot of space, and can be clean/litter trained just like a cat. So why is one allowed but not the other ? Allergies are also not an excuse, as people can be allergic to all sort of pets ! 

Thankfully, Westjet airlines did allow me to fly with my rabbit in the past, but the airlines options are way to limited, especially internationally. My rabbit did wonderfully, most likely because he had the right to stay by my side as he should. Rabbits are loving animals and I wish people would stop having so many misconception about them. They can be very well behaved, clean and quiet. It's all about the care you give them, once again, just like cats and dogs. 

I don't know if this petition will change anything, but I know I am not the only one who think it's unfair, hypocritical and ridiculous.
