Dear friends,

Thank you for being part of the biggest anti-racism movement this country has seen. This petition has hit a nerve in our country. Almost 1.2 million people have signed the petition, more than two thirds of you have shared the petition - meaning over 10 million people have seen it.

Our work is just beginning. Thanks to your help, we have secured a meeting with the Football Association next Thursday to discuss the main call of our petition - banning racists from football - as well as our broader aim of fighting racism in our broader society.

We are planning our campaign strategy for the football season and to take on social media giants and make sure the government follows through on the Prime Minister’s commitment to see through the asks of our petition.

This starts next week with our meeting with the FA, and we need your help. Please post in the comments section of our petition questions you would like us to ask the FA next week, or stories of your own experiences of racism in football. We want to make sure we are representing your voices as we take action to tackle racism in football and in society.
