Dear friends,

Yesterday our campaign took a big step in the right direction with a commitment from the Prime Minister at the despatch box. He said the football banning order regime will be changed so people guilty of racist abuse will not go to matches - “no ifs, no buts, no exceptions, no excuses.”

We have a long way to go to make those words reality - and we also want all football’s stakeholders to come together and deliver support for a full anti-racism agenda. 

Let’s show the FA we want them to work with clubs to do all they can to ban racists for life from all matches in England. We also know that tackling the root causes of racism is vital, we want better education programmes too.

We wrote to the FA on Tuesday to request a meeting with them and all the leaders of the relevant authorities as soon as possible - we hope they can find the time, we’re ready when they are.
