Dear friends,

Earlier today in Prime Minister’s question time, Boris Johnson said:

“What we’re doing today is taking practical steps to ensure that the football banning order regime is changed so that if you are guilty, Mr Speaker, of racist abuse online of footballers then you are not going to the match - no ifs, no buts, no exceptions.”

This sounds like a step in the right direction for our collective campaign in just over 48 hours!

THANK YOU for signing this petition and building this anti-racism movement.

We are determined to see this through, and we need your help to do this! With your support we will:

- Hold the Prime Minister to account and make sure he delivers on this promise and protects players and fans from racism;
- Keep pushing the FA and football authorities to develop anti-racism education and crack down on racism in stadiums;
- Push tech platforms to take racists off social media, for good.

Thank you for being with us on this rollercoaster for 48 hours - let’s stick together and see this through!

Keep sharing, keep building this anti-racism movement - we have much work to do.

In solidarity,

Shaista, Amna & Huda
