In the past 48 hours thousands have joined our cause to save Ruperta, the elephant starving at the Caricuao Zoo in Venezuela.
A new petition by the Red Ambientalista de Caricuao is taking off. This petition by fellow friends of Ruperta is calling for Venezuelans to put pressure on INPARQUES. The goal is to get the government to send Ruperta to an elephant sanctuary in Brazil.

We must spread the word about Ruperta and Venezuela. There is too much life at stake for people of good will to stand idle and do nothing.
We must spread the word and call on friends and family to join our cause.
Here are three examples of what is happening right now in Venezuela under the boot of the Maduro regime.
1. Venezuelan opposition leader Javier Chirinos presents evidence of Venezuelan citizens in Quinta Crespo taking appart the carcass of a dead street dog in order to survive.

2. Two more babies have died in Maturín, Venezuela where 19 babies died in August due to lack of medicine and medical resources.

3. Report that another elephant in a Venezuelan zoo is in need of help. A second elephant might be suffering the same harsh conditions faced by Ruperta at the Parque Bararida in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. We will post more information as it becomes available.
Remember, if we get tired, if we stop caring, Ruperta will continue to suffer. Let us do all we can to help Ruperta and the people of Venezuela.
Because it is the right thing to do. Because they dererve better than this.
Fuerza y fe, pueblo hermano de Venezuela. Fuerza y fe, Ruperta.
