In the past 48 hours thousands have joined our cause to save Ruperta, the elephant starving at the Caricuao Zoo in Venezuela. A new petition by the Red Ambientalista de Caricuao is taking off. This petition by fellow friends of Ruperta is calling for Venezuelans to put pressure on INPARQUES. There is too much life at stake for people of good will to stand idle and do nothing. We must spread the word and call on friends and family to join our cause. Report that another elephant in a Venezuelan zoo is in need of help. A second elephant might be suffering the same harsh conditions faced by Ruperta at the Parque Bararida in Barquisimeto, Venezuela.
