https://www.change.org/p/instituto-nacional-de-parques-inparques-traslado-de-ruperta A new petition on change.org has been created this week by the Venezuelan Red Ambientalista de Caricuao (Environmental Network of Caricuao). The new petition is asking Venezuelans to come together and call for the Venezuelan authority responsible for the country's zoos (INPARQUES) to transfer Ruperta to Santuario de Elefantes Brasil. This new petition suggests a plan for Ruperta's transfer and calls for Jorge Alejandro Medina, president of INPARQUES, to act. I am now asking all people of good will to support this new petition by fellow friends of Ruperta. This new petition has been started by Venezuelans for another Venezuelan, Ruperta. Below you will find the link to the new change.org petition Traslado de Ruperta, started this week by Red Ambientalista de Caricuao. https://www.change.org/p/instituto-nacional-de-parques-inparques-traslado-de-ruperta Our petition will now post updates to promote the Traslado de Ruperta petition started by the people of Venezuela. It is our hope that this new petition and its proposal will be acknowledged by the Venezuelan authorities for the sake of Ruperta. https://www.change.org/p/instituto-nacional-de-parques-inparques-traslado-de-ruperta It is very important that all individuals of good will act now for Ruperta's sake. This might be Ruperta's last chance. We know that her condition is serious because reports out of Venezuela state that she suffered a serious fall this Monday, that she remained on the ground for hours, and that she could not stand on her own. To this news, we must add more heartbreaking news out of Venezuela, where the news organization Maduradas.com reports that during the month of August, 19 babies died for lack of medicine and medical equipment at the Hospital Cental de MaturÍn. This is becoming the norm in Venezuela. https://maduradas.com/muy-lamentable-19-bebes-fallecieron-en-un-mes-por-falta-de-medicamentos-en-maturin-y-maduro-regalo-5-millones/ We must continue to do our part for the people of Venezuela, for their children, for Ruperta. Fe y fuerza, Ruperta. Fe y fuerza, Venezuela.
