Dear Mr. Neil Golub,

I am currently a Sirius XM subscriber and listener. I understand you are the Executive Producer of Sirius XM Road Dog Trucking.

I am writing to voice my objection to Sirius XM Talk Show Host Kevin Rutherford's bullying tactics on his radio program on the Road Dog Trucking channel.

Kevin Rutherford produced a show on your channel about a month ago, in which, I believe, he knowingly and intentionally embarrassed, humiliated and degraded the leader of a trucker Facebook group called "United Driver Association America" who has been attempting to effect positive change for his fellow drivers to improve drivers' working conditions. Rutherford essentially dedicated an entire show to talk about the communications skills of this driver, whom he invited to appear to rip apart in person live on the air but this person declined. Rutherford attacked him in absentia nonetheless on your network without having the ability to defend himself. It was quite a spectacle to listen to.

I believe when you host a trucking radio show, with that, comes a certain degree of responsibility and expected professionalism. You're supposed to discuss issues that are of concern to drivers, carriers and the rest of the industry. The industry is interested in real business and regulatory issues, not the drama of ripping a Facebook group owner's spelling, grammar, and writing skills apart. Such drama does not make for very good radio. And when a caller during that episode tried to do just that-- talk about his ideas regarding improving hours of service regulations-- Rutherford just shut that caller down and essentially said we don't discuss the details here; you know, we don't have time for that. But he had time to talk about why the word "of" was missing from the Facebook group's name.

As a subscriber, I want you to know that I take serious issue with Rutherford bullying a trucker... on a trucker radio show... on a trucker channel. Bullying by a talk show host is simply uncalled for, unprofessional and should not be tolerated on Sirius XM or in any forum. I suspect the FCC, your investors, other subscribers and your advertisers would agree.

I want you to know I support the Small Business in Transportation Coalition's (SBTC) anti-bullying campaign currently running on Google and through their website Truckers.com, which is directed at Sirius XM Management. I further support the SBTC's call for Sirius XM to remove Rutherford from the air due to his abuse. I would consider remaining a subscriber if Sirius XM were to take the issue of bullying on the air seriously and join us in taking an anti-bullying stand. I will watch for your response so that I may know how to proceed.

Sincerely,
