The endangered Florida Panthers need more protection and not less. Florida needs to continue to protect the cougars and their habitats from development. These iconic animals are being threatened by real estate developers wanting to build right in the middle of crucial Florida Panther habitat. New FWC guidelines are leaving the cats vulnerable and open to hunting and harassment. Do not treat this beautiful iconic animal as a nuisance animal because it is not one. The Florida Panthers need to be protected with stronger laws and the habitats need to be left alone!
