The Issue
Dear Flipkart Customer Support Team,
I am writing this petition against all the malpractices being incorporated by Flipkart like sending items with broken seal, rejecting return/refund, fooling the customer that their issue will be heard but then closing their grievance with no reason. I have come across thousands of cases where the customer is similarly cheated and are mentally harassed by you. On behalf of every victim I am starting this petition which I will take to consumer court and file joint consumer complaint under Section 35(1)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Below is my grievance that I have shared multiple times but it is still unresolved:
On 11th June, my father received a package from Flipkart containing a Samsung F14 5G (order id: OD428323912672063100). However, upon inspection, it was evident that the seal on the package had been tampered with, and I discovered that the data cable and ejector pin were missing from the box. This incident has left me deeply disappointed and frustrated.
I immediately took photographs and recorded a video of the package as evidence. I also questioned the delivery agent as to why he did not inform me about the tampered seal before accepting payment. Instead of addressing my concerns, he simply attempted to convince me that the handset was functioning properly. This lack of professionalism and disregard for customer satisfaction only compounded my disappointment.

In response to this incident, I promptly raised a request for a return/refund and was initially assured by a customer executive that I would receive the refund. However, to my dismay, my request was subsequently rejected, with the message stating that the delivery partner claimed the package was intact. Again I raised my grievance, this time no one came for pickup but my return was cancelled with message "product mismatch". I have repeatedly raised my request, providing the evidence of tampering, but everytime my appeals have been rejected with the generic response "product mismatch", without anyone visiting for pickup.
Therefore, I kindly request your immediate attention to address the following concerns:
- Security: The tampering of the package raises significant concerns about the security and integrity of the contents. I urge you to conduct a thorough investigation into this matter, in order to identify any potential breaches in your delivery process. It is essential to ensure the safety of packages and maintain customer trust in Flipkart's services.
- Refund: To ensure my peace of mind and restore my faith in Flipkart, I request that you issue a refund for this order. Additionally, I kindly request that you arrange for the package to be collected from my address. This would help alleviate the inconvenience caused and demonstrate Flipkart's commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Preventive Measures: It is crucial for Flipkart to implement additional measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. I encourage you to review your packaging and delivery protocols to ensure the highest level of security for all customers. Proactive measures, such as tamper-evident seals and increased scrutiny during delivery, can go a long way in preventing such issues and ensuring the safety of products.
I hope to see a prompt resolution to this matter, which will restore my trust in Flipkart's commitment to customer satisfaction.
