Fix the Traffic Light that Took a Life

Fix the Traffic Light that Took a Life
The Issue
If I am wrong about any of this, please correct me in the comments. I wouldn't want to embarrass myself further. Thank you!
I remember that at the start of the school year, there was a horrible accident. My family wouldn't tell me what was up, but I figured it out: a young man, 16 years of age, named Dylan Reagan, may he rest in peace, died in a motorcycle crash outside my school. He attended MSJH- he was a junior. A parent of a student at the nearby school had been confused by a broken traffic light that wouldn't stop blinking a left-turn signal, and, unfortunately, Dylan was passing through the area. He and the Mercedes collided, and the impact sent him flying onto a power box, getting him electrocuted. He died. May Dylan rest in peace, and may his family find peace in the wake of their loved one's death.
A memorial was held in honor of Dylan and his life at MSJH, his school. There is also a memorial in front of his site of death. N.B. that the traffic light still hasn't been fixed, despite the death of a Fremont minor.
It's horrendous- utterly horrendous that I have to make this petition. Our city government knows a minor died because of that light, AND THEY STILL HAVEN'T FIXED THE GOSHDANGED LIGHT! The sheer apathy and self-centeredness that went into this laziness is appalling- what kind of example are they setting for their youth, just choosing not to protect lives? (Evidently) not caring whether their citizens live or die? The US promises us "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness"- and yet, the city of Fremont implicitly refuses to guarantee us life. How dare they? How dare they let themselves be so ridiculously incompetent a sixth grader is scolding them? How dare they let this happen?
I thank you for your support. No donations will be needed for this project- Fremont's government's gonna pay for this one. OR ELSE I WILL BE VERY ANGRY. (To be honest, I already am.)
