Sorry not been back here in a while for an update. I am also being careful what I add to here should we manage to get the case to court.
As it stands at the moment the police have taken a personal victim impact statement in addition to the victim impact statement I wrote on behalf of the club from the steward. They’ve also asked for further bank statements showing just how close to closing we came due to our previous treasurers actions.
We were also approached by someone who attended an EGM from another club close to closure who did advise us that our former treasurer did attend this meeting and offered them their services as treasurer there also. A club not in the town but in our locality. So this person is still on the prowl and probably points to the fact they maybe haven’t been given access to money elsewhere as they’d have liked.
I am hopeful now that then next update will be a submission to the CPS. I will update here once this is done.
