How Common is Fraud Within The Community?

This type of crime is way more common than you think and there have been many cases locally. Lucky for some of our communities there has been a positive outcome.
What we’re looking to change is that luck shouldn’t play a part in whether or not these types of people are brought to justice. It shouldn’t depend on the competency of your leading officer. But rather a designated department is created with a designated officer who deals with financial crime from start to finish and that investigation takes place in a reasonable amount of time to enable effective evidence gathering and a positive outcome from decision makers or the CPS.
No club should suffer because they’ve trusted the wrong person. Or because an investigation isn’t conducted efficiently or swiftly.
The victim impact statements tell their own story.
We need to bring about change!
