We have been residents in this building for over a year and there has never been a point in time where all the washers and dryers were in working condition. Over the past few months the machines have been declining by eating quarters, damaging clothes, filling up with water, leaking, etc. Even the “new” washing machine that was installed recently is already broken and has been completely filled with water for WEEKS and is started to smell. There is one working washer and maybe 2 working dryers to service our entire building. The most frustrating part of all this is that they raised the price for each load to 1.75 while leaving us with machines that don’t even work. I am writing this in hopes that the tenants of 401 Kenmore can come together to sign this petition and get these washers and dryers repaired or replaced.
