We, the undersigned, request that Dunedin City Council and Otago Regional Council take immediate action to progress a practical pipes and pumps engineering solution for South Dunedin. We ask that this work be prioritised before further spending on wider long-term adaptation planning that does not first address the known flooding, sewage, pipes and pump failures affecting residents now.

This must include urgent stormwater and wastewater infrastructure works, including the stormwater network, wastewater network, pump stations, pipes, drains and outfalls serving South Dunedin, St Kilda, St Clair, Forbury, Tainui, Musselburgh and Kensington.
