With a flurry of paper petitions coming in today, we are now at over 2006 signatures. Tomorrow, Wednesday 22 July, is the DCC meeting where the petition will be presented. If you are free from 9.00 am join us at the DCC Chambers in the Art Galley at the Octagon. Take the lift to the third floor. The meeting is open to the public.
Tony Cummings will present the petition in the public forum part of the meeting. That comes after the prayer and before the agenda. So sometime after 9.00 am and before 10.00 am.
300 signatures today came in from Mosgiel. I want to give Frank a shout out for the most signatures gathered by a single person. Bravo Frank!
The petition will remain open for now, until we see what the DCC decides to do. Once again the DACA committee says a huge thankyou to all involved. This is an issue worth standing up for!
