Dear Bengalureans,

We all suffer from the roads and the traffic in our city, but now the younger generation is bearing the brunt of this chaos, especially in Whitefield.

Heavy traffic ensures that kids spend as much as 4 hours travelling daily in buses back from school. The bumpy roads lead to bad backs and other health disorders. With a number of parents traveling with their children on two-wheelers, the whole setup is a disaster in the making! Many lives have already been lost to our horrible roads.

Who will hear our apathy? We need roads starting from Varthur, en route Whitefield main road, ECC road, ITPB main road, leading up to Graphite India . We need roads! Roads for schools with more than 3000 kids commuting on these roads ! Roads for the residents. Can we have roads?

We have tried reaching out to them. Protests happened, petitions were signed, and still there is no change! There have been multiple commitments but nothing has been done.

Whitefield has grown into a densely populated area with multiple offices, hospitals, educational institutions and malls. Just look at this list and I'm sure all Bengalureans have been to one or more of these places multiple times.

Shopping malls like Forum Value, Phoenix Market City, Park Square Mall and Inorbit Mall. Super Speciality hospitals like Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Narayana Hrudayala, Columbia hospitals and the upcoming Manipal hospital. This is apart from the IT parks and offices in the area.

Sign my petition so that we can all be spared the stress and danger of dealing with heavy traffic and bad roads.

Despite all the money the Government is making from this area, we have horrible infrastructure. Non existent roads, no street lights, footpaths buried under construction equipment and dug up drenches and ditches!

Residents are constantly following up with traffic and road departments for solutions. Whitefield has become a nightmare for those who stay here, visit here or even pass through this area.

Please provide roads! Roads is all we are asking for!
