Today at the Legislature, the Legislative Education Study Committee (LESC) endorsed a bill to amend the Attendance for Success Act for students whose absences are addressed in IEP or Section 504 plan. This will also have a positive impact on attendance-related effects to schools. There is still a process ahead, but this is the strongest possible start to realizing change!
