The Kia ceed / Xceed is generally a fantastic car but some, generally those the 1.5 t-gdi turbocharged petrol engine, have an issue with the throttle response.

The issue leaves the car feeling hesitant pulling away and can cause it to stall unless you apply more throttle than should be needed. This is a safety issue as the response is unpredictable and could lead to a crash.

Kia have denied this issue exists, however many many owners complain of this problem.

Some have even identified a procedure they can self perform that temporarily resolves the problem, proving the issue is in the car.

We want Kia to acknowledge and properly address the issue.
