Hi All,

My name is Eoin, I am running for local election in Clane in 2024, and have long called for politicians to fix the traffic crisis in Clane. 

I am asking for your signature so that I can propose a real solution to Clane's traffic crisis. 

To do this, we need to do 4 things:

1) Build a bypass around the East side of Clane which will pick up HGVs from Kilcock/N4 as well as traffic coming in from Celbridge and Naas, making it easier to get home and removing cars from the Main Street.

2) Remove some on-street parking on Main Street to ease traffic and give buses space to pull in and pick up passengers. 

3) Ensure we have a bus service that shows up and has enough seats by allocating more frequent and bigger buses on all bus routes through Clane, especially the 120 and 139. 

4) Build a new greenway along the River Liffey to link with cycle lanes in Sallins and allow people to get to Sallins train station in 15-20 minutes by bike. 

Once we have enough signatures, I will give this petition to Kildare County Council and Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) calling on them to act and fix our traffic problems!
