The Issue
So I’m reaching out.
Amy was a Colonial Heights’s graduate a teacher at Harrowgate Elementary, a very active resident of Dinwiddie county , owner of short cakes (cupcake business) , ran several direct sale companies , team moms, photographer for just about everything … but her number one job and most rewarding was being a mother! Amy truly lived for “A”! He was her everything. They were never seen apart and whether it was a lunch date or a target run you saw them together. Aiden absolutely adored his mama so much. Their bond is unbreakable for sure. But one thing they loved, absolutely loved was spending time together. Sports, Boy Scouts, school events, parties, outdoor activities, you name it they loved it. Aidens love for skateboarding truly mesmerized Amy. She was his biggest fan. She absolutely loved capturing his moves and stunts! This woman is truly everyone’s best friend. She had no enemies. Her husband and mother both are also teachers. Bringing so much love to Dinwiddie we would love to see this skate park built in her honor! I’d love for Aiden to skate there and /or ride by there knowing his mama is proud and watching over him daily. This park will not only be amazing for their family but for our residents. Let’s give Dinwiddie a small skate park where children can come together to hang out, skate and make new friends. We need more places for our children to socialize. The sports complex would be a great location.
I’m wanting to go to the county and propose a ”Skate Park” dedicated to Amy Burton Fisher at the sports complex for Aiden. I would like a flower garden and bench there as well. Mary Belle Harris Wilson we are going to honor your angel! We all know how much she loved watching him skate. I of course would love nothing more than Aiden to design it. On my list and yours are there folks youns have that can assist in building this? I’d like to take a plan to Mr Massengil before just approaching him without any ideas and cost etc. please assist me in getting this accomplished. I know he would love this!!
Please help me by sharing and getting the word out. Let’s get these kiddos off their phones and more active!! Please help make a beautiful and meaningful tribute to this beautiful mother and son.
