Fire Zac Taylor as Head Coach of the Cincinnati Bengals

The Issue

We Love This Team — But We’re Fed Up

Bengals fans have waited, hoped, and stayed loyal. We’ve stood behind Zac Taylor through rough years, through injuries, and through growing pains.

But 2025 has proven one thing beyond doubt — Zac Taylor cannot protect Joe Burrow, cannot build a consistent offense, and cannot adapt. The same issues that have plagued this team for six seasons are not getting better.

This petition calls for the immediate firing of Zac Taylor as head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals.

This Season’s Stats Say It All (2025)

Record: 2–3

Total Points Scored: 85 (17.0 per game, 29th in the NFL)

Total Points Allowed: 156 (31.2 per game)

Rushing Attack: 2.5 yards per carry — bottom of the league

Multiple games with under 200 total offensive yards

Offensive line ranked 31st in the NFL (Pro Football Focus, 2025 projection)

The numbers don’t lie. This is one of the worst offensive performances in the league — and it’s not for lack of talent.

---

Joe Burrow Deserves Better Protection

Joe Burrow has taken more hits, sacks, and injuries than almost any elite quarterback in the league since entering the NFL.

In his rookie season (2020), Burrow suffered a torn ACL and MCL after being hit behind one of the worst lines in football.

Since then, he’s battled calf injuries, wrist issues, and constant pressure from defenders — all behind lines that Taylor built.

Year after year, the Bengals claim the offensive line is “fixed,” and year after year, Burrow ends up running for his life.

Even this season, pressure rates remain among the league’s highest, and Burrow rarely has time to operate cleanly from the pocket.

Zac Taylor’s inability to assemble or scheme around a functional offensive line has directly endangered his franchise quarterback. Burrow’s injuries are not bad luck — they’re the result of bad coaching and worse protection.

---

The Offensive Line: A Six-Year Failure

Let’s be honest — this isn’t new. The Bengals’ offensive line has been a problem since the day Taylor was hired.

Six seasons, multiple O-line coaches, and millions spent in free agency — yet no lasting improvement.

Guard play remains awful, communication breakdowns are constant, and the run game is nonexistent.

Losing Cordell Volson for the season due to injury exposed the lack of depth and development once again.

Instead of scheming around the problem, Taylor keeps calling the same slow-developing plays that hang Burrow out to dry.

It’s the same story every year — and fans are sick of watching our quarterback pay the price.

---

The Play-Calling Problem

Even beyond the line issues, Zac Taylor’s play-calling has gone stale:

Predictable early-down runs into stacked boxes.

Ineffective short passes with no rhythm or creativity.

Conservative 4th-down decisions that kill momentum.

A stubborn refusal to adjust when defenses figure him out.

Taylor insists on calling plays himself, even though the results speak for themselves: bottom-tier offensive output, wasted drives, and lost winnable games.

---

Why Fans Are Done

We’re tired of watching:

Joe Burrow take hit after hit because of a line that never improves.

Elite weapons like Chase and Higgins wasted in a bland, conservative scheme.

The same slow starts, same excuses, same results.

Zac Taylor may have helped spark a turnaround in 2021 — but he’s run out of answers. He’s no longer elevating this team; he’s holding it back.

---

Our Demand

We, the fans, demand:

1. The immediate termination of Zac Taylor as head coach.

2. A new leader who can protect Joe Burrow and modernize this offense.

3. A full rebuild of offensive line philosophy — from coaching to personnel.

The Bengals have the roster to win right now. But without competent leadership and a functional line, we’re wasting a generational quarterback’s prime.

---

Cincinnati Deserves Better

This isn’t negativity — it’s passion.
This isn’t hate — it’s heartbreak.

We love this team too much to watch it crumble under the same coach who keeps repeating the same mistakes.

Fire Zac Taylor. Protect Joe Burrow. Save the Bengals.
