Joe Burrow has taken more hits, sacks, and injuries than almost any elite quarterback in the league since entering the NFL.

In his rookie season (2020), Burrow suffered a torn ACL and MCL after being hit behind one of the worst lines in football.

Since then, he’s battled calf injuries, wrist issues, and constant pressure from defenders — all behind lines that Taylor built.

Year after year, the Bengals claim the offensive line is “fixed,” and year after year, Burrow ends up running for his life.

Even this season, pressure rates remain among the league’s highest, and Burrow rarely has time to operate cleanly from the pocket.

Zac Taylor’s inability to assemble or scheme around a functional offensive line has directly endangered his franchise quarterback. Burrow’s injuries are not bad luck — they’re the result of bad coaching and worse protection.
