Rick Stone is simply NOT the right choice of coach for this team...It is clear that if the performances deteriorate into next season, he will be fired immediately, so why not fire him at the end of this season or at a lesser extent...NOW? If you think you are worried that our “caretaker coach” is doing so well that you don't have the guts and power to remove him as head coach, don't be bothered doing it...You can sack whoever you want Mr McGuigan. Rick Stone is a dreadful coach, his coaching techniques are more than reserve grade rather than first grade, his interchanges which players are put out of their normal positions are absolutely illogical, the way he picks the same team after heavy and embarrassing losses and not dropping inconsistent players who are in poor form is just laughable as the changes are needed for injury cover only and the players have quit on him. Most of these losses are sometimes met with a pathetic excuse at the post match press conference (I.E Injuries, etc). This is for a reason...

  If you think you are confident of how we are moving forward with him, and how we are not getting the results by keeping inconsistent poor players by all means keep him. But you don't. I know you don't. The team knows you don't, the fans know you don't and Rick Stone knows you don't.

You will SACK Rick Stone this offseason for the reasons outlined above and many more as Rick Stone is absolutely NOT UP TO HEAD COACHING STANDARDS. Rick was very successful as a reserve grade football coach with the Burleigh Bears in the QLD Cup and the Reserve Grade Knights in the NSW Cup but however his head coaching record is seriously debatable. We Knights fans deserve change and make the change that we have been wanting for NOW. Remove Rick Stone from his position as head coach of the Knights, Replace him with a caretaker coach and then break the bank to introduce a big-name head coach this offseason.

Rick seems like a friendly bloke. He's locally great with friends and bleeds red and blue day and night and has been an integral part of the Knights coaching staff for the past ten years, but he has to go.
