Whereas the Mr. Pipsqueak videos ( https://youtu.be/YvabTgcQlz8 ) have revealed indisputable evidence that former Sheriff's Deputy and current Toccoa Police Officer Dondi Nelson committed significant error in the following:

1) On June 29th, 2024, Nelson led police from in and around Toccoa into a violent attack on Elder Justin Freeman and his son without lawful purpose, and
2) Nelson lied to his fellow officers to convince them to make that attack, and
3) The excessive response by law-enforcement put countless innocent bystanders in significant danger, and
4) Nelson turned off his dash and body cameras to cover up his misconduct, and
5) Nelson lied in his police report to cover up his actions, and
6) Nelson's lies were propagated to the Toccoa Record newspaper in an effort to deceive the people, and
7) Nelson was disciplined and forced to resign from the Stephens County Sheriff's Office for repeated instances of turning off body cameras, and
8) Nelson lied on his job application with Toccoa PD to get rehired as a patrol officer,

Therefore, we resolve that:
1) Nelson's continued employment in law enforcement in any capacity or by any agency anywhere in North Georgia represents an immediate danger to the life, liberty, and well-being of any of us, and
2) For Nelson to continue in employment in law enforcement embarrasses and discredits any agency for which he is employed, and
3) Nelson's record of dishonesty will undermine any case in which he is involved, significantly hindering the mission of law enforcement
4) Nelson's continued employment in law enforcement is a stain on the reputation and honor of Stephens County, and
5) There is sufficient cause to terminate Nelson's employment, and reason to demand the same.

In light of the foregoing, we demand that the City of Toccoa terminate Nelson's employment immediately, before he can do any more harm to this community, and that no other law enforcement agency in Northeast Georgia rehire him.
