Since becoming the general manager of the Baltimore Ravens, Eric DeCosta has consistently failed to address the weaknesses in our team and build a competent offensive line. Since DeCosta took over, we have seen a decline in player performance that correlates closely with poor decision-making in the draft and the lack of competent free agency signings, particularly in building a solid offensive line. The Ravens, once known for our staunch defense and competitive edge, are now struggling to maintain their identity. Over the past few seasons, we've had one of the higher sack rates in the league and have struggled to establish a consistent running game, two indicators of a failing offensive line. This has not only cost us winnable games but has also placed an unnecessary strain on the team's driving talent like Lamar Jackson, who requires a strong line to play to his full potential. Continuously failing to address these concerns shows a lack of understanding and urgency by our current management.

Eric DeCosta should have been released alongside John Harbaugh as part of a strategic reset that aligns more closely with the ethos of competitive, forward-thinking football. Our team needs leaders who understand the dire need for a restructuring process and are willing to prioritize bolstering our foundation with young, robust talent. By doing so, we can reignite the team's performance, spare our athletes from unnecessary risks, and bring the Ravens back to the top of the league.
