Yesterday at Hardin Valley Academy 3/30/23, a custodian turned on the gas and we had a gas leak. They should of canceled school instead of putting THOUSANDS of students in danger, but they needed their money so we had to stay till at-least 12 pm. They were going to try to cover the whole situation up, they emailed us late last night saying that they ensured our safety. All they really want is the money, and honestly most students do not feel safe going back to school because of this event and how we don’t think they actually care about our safety. The fire station was telling Dr. Speas to evacuate us but he would not. We need to change the way this school is run.
