Fire Det.Beck of Fairfield Police Department. Demand accurate info on SEARCH WARRANTS
The Issue
4/7/22 Detective Christopher Beck used inaccurate information to obtain a search warrant and illegally come into someone’s home. He then again lied under oath on court transcripts for 12/15/22. Judge Carlos Guitterez suppressed warrant due to his reckless disregard for the TRUTH. 29 months later individual in still in custody at Solano county jail due to Detective Beck trying to charge anyone with attempted murder
Proof DETECTIVE BECK LIES UNDER OATH!!!
My husband, a black man, was wrongfully incarcerated due to a search warrant obtained on false pretenses by Detective Christopher Beck of the Fairfield Police Department. This incident is not just about my family; it's about systemic issues within our local law enforcement that need to be addressed for the sake of justice and fairness. Officer beck lies to judge to get a search warrant. What else has he lied about on police reports to wrongfully arrest someone. This is the first time he got caught lying under oath I highly doubt it’s the first time. Obviously racist towards African American citizens.
The National Registry of Exonerations reported that in 2019, 54% of wrongful convictions resulted from official misconduct, including perjury or false accusations (National Registry of Exonerations). In Fairfield, this statistic has become our reality. It is imperative that all officers trained by Detective Beck undergo retraining to ensure they are upholding their duty to serve and protect all citizens fairly.
We demand immediate reform within the Fairfield PD. This includes comprehensive retraining for officers who were mentored by Detective Beck and an internal investigation into his practices. We cannot allow any more innocent people to suffer due to misconduct.
By signing this petition, you are standing with us against racial bias in policing and helping us push for necessary change within the Fairfield PD. Please sign this petition today.
