Fire Dan Clancy

Fire Dan Clancy
The Issue
Dan Clancy, the CEO of Twitch.tv, has consistently failed to maintain a safe and respectful environment for both creators and their fans. One particularly shocking incident highlights this failure: at a TwitchCon event, popular streamer Emiru was attacked during her own meet and greet session. Disturbingly, only a single security personnel member intervened, and even that was too late to prevent trauma. Not just that, after the fact the security was laughing at the matter.
TwitchCon is meant to be a celebration and a safe haven for content creators and their communities. Instead, it has become a potential danger zone due to inadequate planning and insufficient security measures under Dan Clancy's watch. Streamers come to TwitchCon with the expectation of connecting with their fans, sharing joy and creating memories, not to be put at risk.
Dan Clancy’s leadership has been marred by several such oversights, and it is evident that he lacks either the intent or the ability — possibly both — to ensure the well-being of the Twitch community. The trust has been broken, and it is time for a change.
We demand that Twitch take responsibility and prioritize the safety and security of its users and creators. Removing Dan Clancy from his position as CEO is a crucial step towards achieving this goal. By signing this petition, you are calling for a safer, more accountable future at Twitch. Join us in advocating for change by signing below.
Edit: just when I didn't think it could get worse it did. Some of the biggest Vtubers had some of the gifts they received from fans thrown out. Vtubers include Ironmouse, Chibidoki, Henya and more. Enough is enough from this team of people who are so quick to throw away items that have no reason to be thrown out. Especially when you agree to send the items back to said Vtubers.
