For years, Carl Pasowicz has been known to spread misinformation and bigotry throughout Whitney Young High School as a world history teacher. He has been the perpetrator of hate crimes and microaggressions against students and teachers alike. 

Anecdotes from students include:

• Mr. Pasowicz explicitly said in class that if he was a police officer, he would commit police brutality.
• One time he was watching a video of this baby speaking Chinese and he went to the only Asian person in my class and asked them to translate it. 
• He has been heard using slurs against trans people, even making transphobic statements directly against trans folx. 
• He has been seen making a mockery of the Black Lives Matter Movement. 
• He has been known to consistently make racially charged comments towards POC in his classes 

And most recently, there was a black doll hanging from the strings of a projector screen, mimicking a lynching.  Mr. Pasowicz, when confronted about the violent imagery by another teacher, refused to take it down, stating that "people are too sensitive these days". His bigotry and biases have ultimately culminated into a fight, creating a hostile environment for students and teachers alike.
