I wrote previously that I wrote a financial Bill that would take multi millions of women&kids out of poverty. No response. Financial abuse occurs in 98% of DV cases. 1 in 3 people experience DV. Women&kids are #1 homeless, poverty &face food insufficient.

we need official the 1st cabinet member and staff to be assigned to DV & financial abuse. NCADV is just phone #s not help.
Laws need to change &victims need 100% input.
You allowed manchin 2 write part of VAWA after he refused people in poverty - all women (including current DV victims, escaping or have left) financial abuse can last until the age 18.
He denied them child tax credit incl non filers pre-K help, child care help&paid leave votes against real Gun safety he had no business working on that bill.

congress can not and should not ignore this problem any longer

Poverty, homelessness &food insufficiency cause life time effects on  children like, physical issues, mental health issues, increase suicides & attempts, low graduation rate, lower diabetes & obesity. This will last their life time. 
impact of financial abuse of women &children can last  over 10 yrs or generational. Creating a never ending cycle that America politicians have ignored far too long. 
Also asking for overhaul of child support. Amounts paid by non custodial parents they are below what it takes to raise a child forcing the usually mother &kids into poverty. states child Support systems are understaffed, undertrained &have no authority. I applied for a modification beginning of July 2022 still not done January 2023. non custodial parents simply don’t have to send in financial info &mod program has no subpoena power. I’m still waiting on a states atty only after pushing the governor IL&exposing it during the midterm elections. 
Late child support takes much too long for states to trigger states to collect. Evictions&repossessions happen in 3 month.
Items in decree ordered to be paid & often not paid should not require custodial parent to hire an atty. These 2 parts of support need to be collected together or set to be collected by states atty not lawyers. 
it’s time these issues are taken seriously by a country who is supposed to help the poor or those being victimized. 

my ex broke my back permanently triggering a permanent degenerative condition with no cure causing me to go on Disabilty. We are denied food card in FL because the illegally cap the rent despite it being set by USDA they can not.  We often have no food, food pantries don’t have the meats, fresh vegetables or fruits or even items to make any meals. They appeared in a news story with me confirming this. The USDA got involved after seeing the article we were given 93.00 a month for food for only 2 months. My kids are 11 & 13 and we have been homeless twice. There is no help. No government entity helped us at all and charities did not either. 

This can’t continue. It must have changes.
