I convey my thanks to all supporters, who helped this petition to reach 2000 signatures mile stone. Many senior citizens, retired people , people in service , some NRIs also signed the petition. Many gave logical and reasonable comments,justifications. Naturally we feel pinched and hurt , when 10% to 30% of around 8% interest given by banks is taken by Govt. This interest itself won't protect true value of principle over time. Retired people live only on interest , which remains same every year , but true value creases every year. People in service invest left over money after paying taxes, in FDs for their future financial protection. Taxing interest is double taxation. I request suggestions from supporters to further increase number of signatures and I request them also to put efforts in this direction. I am very much thankful to change.org ,for providing us a platform to represent our suggestions,grievances. With out change.org and face book , it is not possible for a common man to write a petition to FM, Govt of India and get 2000 signatures.
