Airline passengers deserve transparency and choice. Right now, most travellers aren’t told what aircraft they’ll fly on — and if the plane is swapped last minute, there’s often no warning or refund option.We believe this must change.

We call for the legal right to:

• Know the make, model, and age of the aircraft at the time of booking
• Access the aircraft’s service history, including major incidents or repairs
• Be notified immediately if the scheduled aircraft is changed
• Understand any key differences (layout, safety features, comfort, etc.)
• Cancel or rebook without penalty if the aircraft is swapped last minute without notice

Why it matters:

• Aircraft swaps can affect safety, accessibility, and comfort
• Passengers have the right to make informed decisions
• No one should be locked into flying on an unfamiliar or unwanted aircraft
