After almost 4 years opposing the proposed high rise development on this tranquil site there has been a pleasing outcome for local people and for the Borough at large!

I have received an email from Christopher Baxter, our local Conservative Councillor, saying " the Council aims to build a Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) school on the former Plymouth Brethren site at 265 The Ridgeway.

I am delighted that I can now confirm that London Borough of Harrow have purchased the site, further protecting it from inappropriate high-rise development that would be out of keeping with the neighbourhood".

Although I have not spoken about this to local residents, In my opinion this is great news and we can now collectively breathe a sigh of relief and stop being concerned about the future of the site.

I think I can now herald this as a victory for all concerned!
