On 10th of May a serious incident occurred on the 'Cattle Bridge' due to a high speed chase involving the police and criminals which ended in a three car crash outside the Brethren site!

This incident clearly demonstrates the dangers to pedestrians and car users if there is an increase in traffic on such a narrow section of this busy road which is not wide enough to have a normal width pavement!

The photo shows the narrow road on the brow of the hill where three lanes of cars, together with traffic from busy side roads, to the left and right of the police van, will be filtering onto traffic speeding up coming down the hill.

We again urge our Councillors to listen to residents concerns and not lift the Covenant to permit this unsuitable development.
