This weeks Harrow Times reported Harrow Council’s planning committee decision to reject proposals for a four-storey housing block following residents concerns.

There was criticism regarding insufficient levels of parking and the scheme as “out of character” for the surrounding area.

Concerns were the area was fast becoming overpopulated and that Harrow had lost all the character it once had because of the monstrosities being built.

The Cllr who proposed the motion for refusal said it was an overdevelopment and that it was not in keeping with the area’s character.  He also said it was unrealistic to expect new residents to not use cars.

WELL DONE COUNCILLOR  - LET’S HOPE THAT OUR CONCERNS WILL BE LISTENED TO AS WELL.
