Fight Injustice in Georgia Prisons: Join The Fight Against GA Dept of Correction
The Issue
Public Safety Announcement & Invitation to Join The Fight Against the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC)
Do you have a loved one incarcerated in the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC)? Have you tried to make a complaint, get help, call the ombudsman, administration to no resolve? Have you or your loved one been threatened with violence if you don't give in to corrupt staff or gang extortion? Are you stressed out and worried sick for their safety due to the high risk of violence, death, overdose, corruption, and assault, just to name a few?
This is an overdue cry for help on behalf of those who have been cast out of society and continue to suffer inside Georgia’s prisons who have no voice and live in fear as they are in subjugation daily under gross abuse of power for speaking the truth. We invite you to join the fight against the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC), its employees, and elected officials for numerous violations of state, federal, and international laws. This collective effort to protect the basic human rights and dignity of all incarcerated individuals, their families, and the community. This effort is not to cause further harm to any inmate or their sentence and will not be used against them if they want to come forward with personal complaints.
We are also calling on current and former GDC employees and whistleblowers who seek to be on the right side of justice. You, too, are invited to share your experiences and join this movement.
For Families Who Have Lost a Loved One: If you have tragically lost a loved one in GDC custody for any reason, we extend a special invitation to you. Your loved one made the ultimate sacrifice, and it would be an honor to have your voice join us in this fight for justice.
If You or Your Loved One Has Experienced Any of the Following While Under GDC Custody:

• Inmate-on-inmate violence
• Gang violence
• Rape
• Overcrowding
• Failure to provide safe housing
