UPDATE: Please continue to share and encourage others to sign this petition.  As of August 13, 2022, the FHSD has not repealed the resolution banning teaching about identity.  In connection with a lawsuit filed by community members, FHSD Board agreed that they “will not take any action to enforce, implement, or attempt to enforce or implement” the resolution, “nor will the Defendants create or commence the process to create any Policy of the Board which is intended to enforce or implement such Resolution during the pendency of this case in this Court.” This does not rescind the resolution. It only puts it on hold while the district continues to pay legal fees to litigate the case. After this agreement was announced, the Board issued a statement to media explaining that the “Board intends to vigorously defend” the resolution.
